Security acquisition may boost firms
The acquisition of Cybertrust has been completed by Verizon, in news that may be of interest to company directors.
Now, the latter company has stated how it wishes to implement Cybertrust's channels, something that could improve computer security solutions, ARN reports.
Verizon hopes to merge the best components of Cybertrust with its own Business Managed Security Services equipment, it has stated.
According to the company, more streamlined, effective solutions will now be available to customers who wish to take out its products.
At present, the firm has about 2,500 enterprise users, Verizon claimed.
Vice president of security solutions at Verizon Kerry Bailey said that there is now an opportunity for firms to strive ahead with the combined services.
He added that there is "overlap in the device managing area" between the two firms, something which will be a positive factor.
In related news, a duo of companies including Isilon Systems in Ireland recently stated that firms would be pleased with their new "groundbreaking" security solution.
